Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, Minister of Commerce and Industry, the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry will honor national industry pioneers tomorrow, Tuesday, in recognition of their contributions and efforts to advance economic development in the Kingdom and strengthen the pillars of the national economy.

On this occasion, Engineer Saad Al-Maajil, Board Member and Chairman of the Riyadh Industrial Committee, said that the Riyadh Chamber’s honoring of industry leaders reflects the Chamber’s and the private sector’s commitment to promoting national industry, Al-Maajil noted their pride in the Kingdom’s remarkable development and progress in the fields of industry and its role in modernizing the national economy and supporting development programs and projects.

Al-Maajil urged businesspeople and investors to actively engage in industrial investment projects and break into new fields and sectors that contribute to achieving the industrial transformation encouraged by the state and eagerly anticipated by the industrial and economic communities. He said that the Riyadh Chamber hopes this awards ceremony will serve as an incentive forindustrial investors from the younger generations. He noted that the ceremony would be an opportunity to raise key issues and exchange views on the concerns of industrialists, thereby contributing to the development of the industrial sector and strengthening its role in serving our national economy.

Al-Maajil expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Industry for graciously sponsoring the awards ceremony, and said that this underscores the commitment of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and His Royal Highness the Deputy Crown Prince—may God protect them—to supporting and strengthening national industry and to encouraging and motivating industrialists.
