His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Qassim, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Miteb bin Fahd bin Faisal and His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel, launched the groundbreaking ceremony for a number of municipal projects in the region at a total cost of more than 2.2 billion riyals.

Infrastructure development

The ceremony was held at the King Khalid Civilization Center in Buraidah, where several initiatives aimed at developing infrastructure and improving urban services were announced.

In his speech, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, said. In his speech, His Highness the Emir of Qassim expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, may God protect them, for the continuous support provided by the state in various development projects in the region, stressing that these projects come within the framework of continuous efforts to improve the quality of life and raise the level of municipal services in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

For his part, Minister Majid Al Haqeel pointed out that the implemented projects contribute to enhancing the urban landscape and improving the urban environment in the cities and governorates of the region, praising the continuous cooperation between the Ministry of Municipalities and the Municipality in following up the quality of implementation and monitoring municipal performance.

<The new projects inaugurated include projects to develop roads, maintain lighting, improve environmental drainage, and establish public parks. The projects also focus on enhancing the city's scenery and aesthetics through improvement, beautification and cleanliness projects.

During the ceremony, the projects were inaugurated. During the ceremony, a number of community partnership agreements were signed between Qassim Municipality and a number of private sector partners, including the implementation of various service projects, including the model honoring the dead project in Buraidah, the development of two parks in Al-Hazm neighborhood, and the improvement of major roads in the city.

<These projects reflect the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to promote sustainable development and achieve the well-being of citizens in accordance with the strategic plans of Vision 2030.
