Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Issa, editor-in-chief of the newspaper «Amlak,» revealed that the launch of Amlak in 2010 was preceded by two years of long and arduous work beginning in 2008, during which a promotional and advertising campaign heralding the newspaper’s launch continued throughout those two years. during which the World of Journalism Foundation for Media and Public Relations, the newspaper’s owner, conducted scientific studies of the real estate market. These studies revealed the market’s need for a specialized newspaper that meets the needs of the real estate sector and professionals, documenting this sector, which is valued at one and a half trillion riyals.
Extensive media expertise
Al-Eissa explained that Al-Eisah, in publishing the newspaper, has drawn upon all of its long-standing and extensive experience in the media field, given its specialization in this area, particularly since it has overseen the publication of several publications in both the public and private sectors, as well as editing, producing, and designing several university publications. All this experience has qualified it to conduct the necessary research for the launch of the real estate newspaper «Amlak,» which is the first real estate newspaper in the Kingdom and the region.
Launch of the first issue
Al-Issa explained that the work leading up to the newspaper’s launch, carried out by the World of Journalism Foundation for Media and Public Relations—the newspaper’s owner—spanned two years and included obtaining the necessary approvals and conducting a promotional campaign.
The editor-in-chief said «May 2010 marked the birth of the newspaper, as the first issue was published to great acclaim from the real estate market, businesspeople, and relevant stakeholders, who welcomed the new publication with expressions of immense joy, especially since the newspaper was and remains a specialized publication documenting everything related to real estate activity, not only within the Kingdom but also across the region and in a number of countries around the world.»
He added: "Here the newspaper is celebrating its 100th issue and entering its sixth year, achieving success after success and accomplishment after accomplishment with steady, honest, and impartial steps, which has earned it the trust and satisfaction of all parties interested in real estate matters, both inside and outside the Kingdom.

Mr. Al-Issa highlighted the most prominent events sponsored and documented by Amlak Real Estate Newspaper, explaining that the newspaper is proud to have sponsored and documented most of the events, forums, and conferences at all local, regional, and international levels—too numerous to list, as they exceed several thousand—but most notably the five major exhibitions in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Bahrain, and Qatar, Restatex exhibitions, Dubai International Property Fairs, as well as construction, design, and interior design exhibitions held both inside and outside the Kingdom.
At the international level, Al-Issa explained that the newspaper covered and documented several international exhibitions and events, most notably the Guangzhou Fair and the Shanghai Fair in China, the slum experience in Brazil, tourism in Sri Lanka, as well as several other real estate activities and events too numerous to mention.

The editor-in-chief explained that Amlak newspaper has won numerous awards, trophies, and certificates of appreciation presented by by a number of real estate events in recognition of its efforts and active role in sponsoring and covering real estate activities in a distinctive manner.
He noted that among the most prominent of these awards and plaques are a plaque presented by His Excellency Qatari Foreign Minister Hamad bin Jassim, the Arab League plaque for Administrative Development as an active sponsor, the Shield of Excellence in Media Coverage of Financing Events from the former Governor of Riyadh, Prince Turki bin Abdullah, and another award from the former Governor of Riyadh, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him, as well as an honor from the Secretary-General of the Riyadh Municipality Prince Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, former editor of Amlak newspaper, for its excellence in covering real estate events, as well as an honor for Amlak newspaper from Faisal bin Turki, the Kingdom’s current ambassador to the United States, the "Maskan« Exhibition Shield, the Saudi Construction Exhibition Shield, and the Agricultural Exhibition Shield,the Award of Excellence for coverage of the Restatex Eastern Province and Jeddah exhibitions, the Shield of Excellence from the BuildEx exhibition, and the Big Five Exhibition Shield, in addition to an honor from King Saud University for the editor-in-chief.
