Housing Minister Majid Al-Hogail described the observations of the Shura Council on the housing strategy as constructive, and indicated that his ministry will immediately start fulfilling them, adding that the ministry is working on implementing the strategy in coordination and cooperation with the relevant authorities and in accordance with the approved sectoral strategies to achieve the aspirations of the rulers, may God protect them.

Haqeel stressed that the strategy carried sustainable solutions that meet the housing needs of citizens, and will achieve a breakthrough in providing affordable housing, developing the housing market to respond to demand and meet it, increasing the supply of residential land and ensuring its price stability, and regulating the housing market.

The Minister stated that the National Housing Strategy is the main reference document and roadmap for the housing sector for the methodology of housing development in the Kingdom, and the framework followed by all parties involved in the housing sector.
