Al Jazeera Paints, the giant of the high-quality paints industry in the Middle East and neighboring regions, provided a generous support of a quarter of a million riyals to the Saudi Society for Fine Arts to hold its second forum and launch its competition on the prize of Al Jazeera Paints under the title (The Two Holy Mosques. Spirituality attracts the soul) with the participation of members of the Society and promising generations at the local and Gulf levels.
This great support allows the association to involve wider categories of creative artists with promising experiences and talents, and the competition will have 10 prizes from Al Jazeera Paints distributed as follows: First Prize: (30,000) thirty thousand riyals, Second Prize: (25,000) twenty-five thousand riyals, Third Prize: (20,000) twenty thousand riyals, Fourth Prize: (15,000) fifteen thousand riyals, and six prizes of (5,000) five thousand riyals each.
Mr. Abdullah bin Saud Al-Rumaih, General Manager of Al-Jazeera Paints, said that this support comes within the framework of the company's social responsibility as a leading national company, which seeks the development of society at various levels, including artistic and cultural aspects. He expressed his hope that the Al Jazeera Paints Award will be the first of its kind in the Kingdom's plastic arts scene. A broader horizon for visual artists, encouraging and motivating them to be creative in order to improve the artistic taste of the community. in all its categories.
It is worth mentioning that Al Jazeera Paints adopted the support of the first forum of the association, which witnessed great success last year under the title (Our Monuments: Creativity Embracing the Present), where the forum received the participation of employees of the association from different regions of the Kingdom and won ten artists and held three exhibitions in Riyadh, Jeddah and Abha, which were opened in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information Dr. Nasser Al-Hujailan and Mr. Abdul-Ilah Al-Rumaih, a member of the Board of Directors of Al Jazeera Paints Company.
