The Council of Ministers, held yesterday in Jeddah under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, approved the transformation of the “State Property Department” into a public authority under the name “General Authority for State Properties” and its organizational arrangements, based on a recommendation made by the Council of Economic Affairs and Development last Ramadan.

The Council of Ministers also decided to amend the regulations regarding the benefit of private schools from the lands of educational facilities, issued by the Council of Ministers Decision No. (65) dated 2/2/1436 AH. <The Council also decided to amend the regulations for private schools to benefit from the lands of educational facilities, issued by Cabinet Decision No. (65) dated 2/2/1436 AH, as detailed in the decision. The Council expressed the Kingdom's appreciation for the International Monetary Fund's welcoming the Kingdom's efforts in strengthening the medium-term fiscal framework initiatives, developing financial and economic risk management, increasing public finance transparency, and developing public and macro-finance analysis, and encouraging it to continue to develop these initiatives.
