The White Land and Vacant Properties Program clarified the most important details related to white land fees , the mechanism for imposing fees, the steps for submitting objections, in addition to the procedures for processing applications and the dates for issuing invoices.
The program indicated that fees are imposed annually on undeveloped land whose area or the total area of land owned by one owner within the city is 5,000 square meters or more.
Fee rates and urban development priorities:
10% for maximum priority.
7.5% for high priority.
5% for medium priority.
2.5% for low priority.
He also clarified that priority domains located outside of it are not subject to fees.
Regarding the issuance of invoices, the program confirmed that invoices are issued on their regular schedule for white lands located within the approved geographical areas and meeting the conditions for being subject to the system.
He pointed out the possibility of requesting an additional period to complete the development or construction of the land, according to the regulations for determining the additional period for developing white lands, which are published through the platform.

Click on the "Provide additional grace period" icon next to the invoice for which you want to provide the grace period.
The program confirmed the possibility of submitting an objection if the land does not meet the system's conditions or if there are obstacles to development.
He explained that the objection is subject to legal processing, whereby the competent department studies the objection within 90 days, and then it is referred to the competent committee to consider it and decide within 60 days.
