Minister of Municipalities and Housing Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel met with HE Minister of Public Works and Housing of the Syrian Arab Republic Engineer Mustafa Abdullah Abdul Razak, on the sidelines of the Kingdom's participation in the 13th World Urban Forum held in the Azerbaijani capital Baku.The meeting discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of housing, in addition to reviewing the Kingdom's experience in this field, discussing real estate policies and legislation and the most prominent initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of life and supporting sustainable development.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Kingdom's participation in the 13th World Urban Forum held in the Azerbaijani capital Baku.

The Minister of Municipalities and Housing stressed the Kingdom's keenness to strengthen regional partnerships, exchange experiences and transfer successful experiences in the field of housing, in order to support development efforts in brotherly countries.
The meeting witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two sides, which aims to enhance institutional cooperation and exchange knowledge and expertise in the fields of municipalities and housing, in order to contribute to the development of the housing sector.
The two sides stressed the importance of continuing coordination and activating areas of joint cooperation, reflecting the deep brotherly relations between both countries and supporting the housing goals in both countries.
