His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel, launched the Master of City Administration (MCA) program, in partnership with King Saud University, as part of the Kingdom's participation in the 13th World Urban Forum in the Azerbaijani capital Baku, in line with the Kingdom's orientation towards building an advanced leadership system for city management and enhancing the efficiency of urban leaders.<The program is part of the efforts of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing to develop national competencies and raise the readiness of urban leaders, in line with global transformations in city planning and management, and contribute to building more quality, sustainable and human-centered cities.The MCA program is a global educational standard that combines academic depth and executive experience, and aims to qualify leaders capable of managing urban challenges and crafting innovative solutions, through scientific and applied content that promotes integration between planning, development and executive aspects.
The launch of the program comes within the Kingdom's participation in the 13th World Urban Forum, through which it reviews the most prominent national experiences and initiatives in urban development and sustainable housing, enhancing international partnerships and exchanging experiences in developing the future of cities.
