The official authorities have completed their preparations for the success of Hajj 1447H, where the plans included a package of integrated services in Makkah and Madinah; including preparing millions of meters of infrastructure and launching a field environmental and health system to ensure the safety of the pilgrims and facilitate their movement with the highest standards of quality and responsiveness.His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, revealed at the Government 2026 press conference, figures and statistics confirming the preparation of integrated services for pilgrims and visitors in Makkah and the Holy Sites.

The plans included a package of integrated services in Makkah and Medina.

Safe movement for pilgrims:
4.6 million square meters of prepared infrastructure area.

20 bridges and 18 tunnels to support the flow of movement between the feelings.

Raising the readiness of roads, lighting and torrential streams.

Healthy environment enhances the comfort of pilgrims:
88,000 cleaning units inside the holy sites.
3,000 vehicles and equipment for cleaning and environmental sanitation works.
1,235 compressor units and 113 ground stores to support the operation.
Enforcement of environmental sanitation works around the clock.

Managing more than 29,000 field reports during the season.
Operating a field system of more than 22,000 human resources.
One field staff member for every 76 pilgrims.
Achieving an average response time of one minute and 13 seconds for reports.
Equipped with an integrated system for dealing with emergencies, risks and sheltering.

66 field service centers.
28 centers inside the holy sites.
5 advanced laboratories to support health monitoring.
More than 2,800 daily monitoring rounds on food, water and facilities.
About 1,300 laboratory samples are drawn daily to ensure the safety of the services provided.
