Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center carried out more than 31 thousand control rounds on the work of infrastructure projects in Riyadh city and the governorates of the region during May 2026, as part of its continuous efforts to enhance compliance, raise the quality of implementation, and improve safety at project sites.<The monitoring tours resulted in the detection of more than 4,000 violations, while the center received during the same period more than 19,000 reports related to the work of infrastructure projects, within the framework of its continuous follow-up of the level of compliance and addressing field observations in coordination with the relevant authorities.<The most prominent violations included failure to comply with the requirements of the project board, failure to maintain general cleanliness at work sites, storage of materials, equipment and tools used outside the scope of licensed work, in addition to failure to comply with the specifications of identification logos on temporary barriers, and failure to provide the necessary warning lighting in work areas, in accordance with the approved requirements and standards.

These efforts come within an integrated control system led by the Infrastructure Projects Center in Riyadh region to raise compliance rates with the Infrastructure Code and enhance levels of quality.
