The CEO of the Real Estate Services Division at NHC Innovations, Engineer Ziad Al-Aql, confirmed that the rapid shift toward technological innovation in the real estate sector has become essential to enhancing business efficiency and boosting competitiveness, emphasizing the importance of leveraging digital solutions to keep pace with market changes.
During his speech at Real Estate Brokerage Forum in its third edition, organized by the General Real Estate Authority, Al-Aql explained that the journey of real estate brokerage in the Kingdom has undergone a major transformation in recent years—one that has not been limited to the development of procedures and regulations, but has extended to completely reshape the concept of the profession. He noted that real estate brokers who possess reliable digital tools and leverage data and digital platforms will be best positioned to accurately assess the market and provide more efficient services to clients.
He added that the journey of real estate innovation begins with the agent’s needs and the challenges they face in the field, or with an idea drawn from the client’s experience, emphasizing that the development of digital solutions must be driven by actual market needs. He explained that the role of stakeholders is not limited to developing digital solutions, but extends to building an integrated ecosystem that enables real estate agents to grow their businesses, leverage data and knowledge, and transform market needs into innovative solutions.
He also revealed that work is underway to develop digital solutions that support real estate appraisal companies, with the aim of increasing the efficiency of appraisal processes, improving data quality, and streamlining procedures, thereby contributing to more accurate decision-making for all stakeholders in the sector.
