The Saudi Council of Engineers Is Accepting Scientific Papers for the 4th International Engineering Conference 2026

The the Saudi Council of Engineers has announced that it is now accepting scientific papers for the 4th International Engineering Conference (IECE 2026), which will be held from December 14 to 16, 2026, at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Convention Center, under the theme “Shaping the Future and Innovating Solutions.”
The Society has invited researchers, academics, engineers, and specialists from within and outside the Kingdom to submit their scientific papers via the designated platform, to contribute to enriching the conference’s scientific content and showcase the latest engineering studies and applications related to the future of the sector, major national transformations, mega-projects, innovation, and sustainability.

Submissions will be accepted until September 26, 2026
The Authority has set the timeline for the scientific paper track, with submissions accepted until September 26, 2026, with participants to be notified of acceptance decisions on October 1, 2026, and the final versions of accepted papers due on October 13, 2026, while November 13, 2026, has been set as the deadline for submitting presentation materials for accepted papers.

The call for scientific papers is part of the preparations for the fourth edition of the conference, which serves as a national and international platform bringing together engineering leaders, government and private entities, researchers and academics, investors, major companies, andengineering firms—both local and international.
Through the scientific papers track, the Authority seeks to link scientific research with practical application, providing a platform for engineering ideas and studies to offer implementable solutions that contribute to improving project efficiency, develop professional practices, and support innovation in various engineering sectors, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

6 Main Tracks for Scientific Papers
The scientific papers cover six main tracks, including: Smart Engineering (artificial intelligence and the digital transformation of mega-projects), Future Energy Systems (smart grids, energy storage, and green hydrogen), Advanced Construction Technologies and Modular Construction, Water Security and Sustainable Environmental Engineering, Smart Industry and Advanced Supply Chains, as well as Engineering Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC).

The 4th International Engineering Conference (IECE 2026) offers a comprehensive program combining panel discussions, scientific papers, workshops, an engineering hackathon, an accompanying exhibition, a launchpad and partnership platform, and an engineering museum, thereby reinforcing its role as a platform that brings together scientific knowledge, professional practice, modern technology, and partnership and investment opportunities in the engineering sector.
