The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced the launch of more than 9,700 residential plots through the “Skeni” platform since the beginning of 2026 until the end of August, continuing its efforts to increase the housing supply and expand the options available to Saudi families in various regions of the Kingdom. It explained that the total number of plots launched during this period amounted to 9,733 within 54 residential schemes, as an extension of its efforts to provide housing land and provide diverse options to meet the needs and urban growth in cities and governorates.
Riyadh takes the largest share of the land
She pointed out that the Riyadh region topped the list in terms of the number of plots offered with 2,322 units, followed by the Qassim region with 2,303 units, then the Hajjah region with 1,369 units, while the Mecca region came in with 1,227 units; these four regions constitute a major side of the residential land offered through the platform during the period, noting that May recorded the highest volume of launches since the beginning of the year with the provision of 2,002 plots, followed by July with 1,830 units, then August with 1,755 units, while February saw the launch of 1,549 units.
The ministry emphasized that the introduction of residential land comes as part of an integrated system aimed at enhancing the housing supply and expanding the range of options available to beneficiaries, alongside the housing and financing products and solutions provided by the “Skeni” platform, which support families in choosing the solutions best suited to their needs and capabilities.
She pointed out that the expansion in the availability of residential land is in line with the ministry's efforts to support urban development, take advantage of available land, and provide housing environments that meet the needs of the population, while continuing to work on diversifying the housing options in the cities and governorates of the Kingdom.
The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing continues its efforts to achieve the goals of the Housing Program – one of the programs of the Saudi Vision 2030 – and increase the rate of residential ownership, while beneficiaries can view the available lands, plans, and options through the “Skeni” platform and application.
