The Big 5 Construct Saudi exhibition concluded its activities last Wednesday at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Convention Center, after four days that witnessed wide participation from leaders and specialists in the building and construction sector, and focused on the future of the sector and the evolving needs of the built environment in the Kingdom, in addition to showcasing innovative sustainable solutions, business opportunities and practical cooperation across the building and construction system.
Sustainability and collaboration formed two main themes in the exhibition sessions and the four accompanying specialized tracks, namely HVACR Saudi Arabia for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, FM & Clean Saudi Arabia for facilities management and cleaning, Heavy Saudi Arabia for construction and heavy equipment, and Totally Concrete Saudi Arabia for concrete and construction systems.

Solutions to enhance operational efficiency
Exhibiting companies showcased solutions designed to reduce environmental impact and enhance operational efficiency, while specialized sessions discussed the role of collaboration, planning, innovation, and technology in translating sustainability aspirations into measurable results. The high-level meetings held at the exhibition also resulted in agreements that are expected to have a tangible impact on the sector.
The exhibition witnessed the signing of a number of cooperation and partnership agreements, as the packaging materials manufacturing company FIPCO and SAPTEC signed a cooperation agreement that combined their expertise in the fields of construction, contracting and infrastructure, with the aim of exploring joint project opportunities and enhancing project implementation capabilities in the Kingdom.
