The the “Serido 2026” Real Estate Development and Homeownership Expo concluded its fifth edition, which was held over three days at the Jeddah Superdome, under the patronage of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, with broad participation from government and private entities as well as real estate developers, and attended by investors and those interested in homeownership and taking advantage of financing solutions.
Over the course of its three days, the expo attracted approximately 35,000 visitors and witnessed the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding between participating entities and companies, thereby supporting the expansion of cooperation and partnership and enhancing investment opportunities in the real estate sector.
Participation by More Than 50 Government and Private Entities
The fifth edition featured the participation of more than 50 government and private entities and real estate developers, during which they showcased a range of real estate projects and opportunities to investors and prospective homebuyers, along with a number of residential projects across the Makkah region. Participating companies announced that they would continue working on the implementation and completion of these projects according to the specified timelines.
The exhibition served as a specialized platform bringing together a select group of experts, investors, and developers to discuss a number of topics related to the role of real estate sector in supporting economic development, as well as the transformations taking place in the Kingdom’s real estate market, rapid technological advancements, and the shift toward smart cities and sustainable projects.
Showcasing new projects and investment opportunities
The exhibition’s key outcomes focused on strengthening public-private partnerships, showcasing new projects and investment opportunities, and offering financing and housing solutions to visitors, in addition to raising awareness of real estate regulations and legislation, and fostering direct communication between developers, investors, and beneficiaries.
The participation of government agencies allowed visitors to learn firsthand about services, solutions, and programs related to homeownership, financing, and real estate regulation, thereby enhancing the integration of roles between government agencies and the private sector, contributes to providing more diverse options for beneficiaries and investors, and supports the efficiency of the real estate sector’s system.
The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing’s sponsorship of and participation in the exhibition is an extension of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the integration of the municipalities and housing system, support partnerships with the private sector, and expand housing, financing, and investment options to support the transition toward vibrant, integrated communities and enhance the attractiveness of the real estate sector.
The conclusion of “Serido 2026” exhibition against the backdrop of the Saudi real estate sector’s expansion in development projects, growth in housing supply, and advancements in financing and regulatory solutions—all of which enhance investment and home-ownership opportunities, and supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 for quality of life and the development of more vibrant and sustainable communities.
