With the participation of more than 130 local and international companies representing 22 countries, and attended by 12,000 visitors, the Decover Furniture and Decor Exhibition concluded its activities at the Jeddah Exhibition and Events Center yesterday evening, with the signing of major deals worth millions of riyals, and over the course of its four days, it saw an outstanding turnout from both industry experts and the general public.
On this occasion, Talaat Abdulrahman, the exhibition’s director, confirmed the entry of new distributors into the Saudi market, which is seeing healthy competition to offer the best to customers, noting that the exhibition saw numerous strategic alliances between domestic and international partners to strengthen their presence in the Saudi market, which currently stands at 11 billion riyals annually and is growing at a significant rate exceeding 14% per year.
For his part, Taha Harqas, General Manager of Inox Technology, explained that the momentum of projects currently underway in the Kingdom is driving annual growth rates in the furniture industry, noting that European products still offer higher quality, although the ultimate determining factors are cost and consumer purchasing power.
