The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - chaired the session held by the Council of Ministers today in Riyadh.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Cabinet approved the Integrated Circuit Layout Designs System. It also approved the Designs System and the Patents and Utility Models System.
His Excellency the Minister of Information, Mr. Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossari, explained that the Council discussed the outcomes of the Kingdom’s hosting of a number of international conferences, praising in this context the recommendations issued by the Riyadh Economic Forum, which will contribute - God willing - to serving the national economic system, strengthening economic policies and directions, and consolidating the integrated partnership between the public and private sectors, in line with the desired objectives and comprehensive development transformations.
The Council considered the registration of foreign direct investments in the Kingdom as a growth of (33.5%) in the year 2025 compared to 2024, as confirmation of the attractiveness of the Saudi economy, its broad future prospects, and the effectiveness of the economic and structural reforms implemented in the past years within the framework of (Saudi Vision 2030).
