Banque Saudi Fransi achieves profits of SAR 2.126 million in six months

Bank Saudi Fransi's net profit for the first half of 2016 amounted to 2,126 million riyals, compared to 2,066 million riyals for the same period last year, an increase of 2.90%, continuing the positive results recorded in 2015 and Q1 2016 that exceeded the medium-term plan targets.

SFB's net profit for the first half of the year 2016 was 2,126 million riyals, up by 2.90%.

The bank also recorded a net profit of SAR 1,048 million for the second quarter of 2016, an increase of 3.15% compared to the same period of the previous year. Total operating profit for the first half of 2016 amounted to SAR 3,230 million versus SAR 3,169 million for the same period of the previous year, an increase of 1.92% supported by strong and balanced revenues from all business segments.

Special commissions net profit increased to SAR 2,104 million by 6.32% compared to SAR 1,979 million in the same period of 2015, due to continuous growth in the loan portfolio, especially since the beginning of the year, resulting in a loan and advances portfolio of SAR 129,637 million for the first six months of 2016, an increase of 3.68% over the same period last year.

Net profit on special commissions increased to SAR 2,104 million by 6.0TP3T.
