The Ministry of Housing, represented by the Developer Services Center, confirmed the approval of twenty-three plans for real estate projects representing the first and second phase of the plans of the Ministry of Housing projects with a total area estimated at 40 million square meters in a number of cities, governorates and centers of the Kingdom, as well as the approval of a comprehensive development project for the private sector in cooperation with Riyadh Municipality with an area of 150000 m2.

Collaboration between “Completion” and “Municipal and Rural”

Mohammed bin Saud Al-Ghazwani, General Supervisor of the “Completion” Center, explained that the work comes as a result of fruitful cooperation between the Ministry of Housing represented by “Completion” and the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs represented by the Ministry's City Planning Agency and its secretariats in various regions, where it completed the approval procedures in record time after the real estate developers submitted all the justifications for the approval of those plans, indicating that the projects were distributed in (Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, Eastern Province, Asir, Jazan, Baha, Tabuk).

Add 150 thousand housing units

Al-Ghazwani pointed out that the approval of these plans will add at least one hundred and fifty thousand housing units, which will contribute to meeting the needs of citizens in a number of regions of the Kingdom and stimulating the development and development process of the residential urban environment, and providing suitable and diverse housing options for citizens, and the center is currently working on finalizing the approval procedures for seventeen plans for housing projects in Jeddah, Al-Qunfudhah, Leith, Al-Qouz, Al-Khafji, and a number of governorates and centers in Asir region and Medina.
