The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative Housing Association in Riyadh, Dr. Abdullah bin Jalawi Al-Shaddadi, confirmed their continued cooperation with the Ministry of Housing to implement the contract that was signed last April under the patronage and support of His Excellency the Minister of Housing Majid Al-Hogail to establish 1000 housing units within the cooperative housing initiative.

Al-Shaddadi revealed in an exclusive statement to Amlak Real Estate Newspaper some features of the ministry's support for the association's housing projects by providing a land plot with an area of 200 thousand square meters that will be allocated after the approval of the necessary designs and plans for this, and Al-Shaddadi added that the ministry will be the guarantor with the banking channels to facilitate the financing process for the project, and the members of the association shareholders will benefit from the possibility of buying according to the off-plan sale system.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative Housing Association in Riyadh said that the association aims to contribute to solving the housing issue with the official authorities by collecting shareholders with money and finding housing opportunities for them, under the direct supervision and support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, to which cooperative societies are subject to supervision and regulation, stressing that cooperative societies cannot work and complete their housing projects in isolation from sponsors and supporters such as the Ministry of Labor, Housing and Finance, where the roles of the three ministries are integrated to achieve the dreams of members and shareholders to provide adequate housing.
