With the participation of a global team of 300 engineers, design experts, and construction specialists, Emaar Properties has unveiled a new tourist destination through the “Sky Walk” project, the iconic observation walkway at “The Address Sky View” in Downtown Dubai. In a statement, the company explained that “Sky Walk” offers an exceptional experience with views from a height of 200 meters, where visitors can stroll along the walkway while wearing safety harnesses and literally walk outside the tower, The “Skywalk” is located on the 53rd floor of “The Address Skyview.”
Emaar revealed that the project required more than 350 metric tons of steel structures for its construction, after which the structure was hoisted into place using cable-stretching crane technology. The “Sky Walk” walkway is 30 meters long and is attached to the structure of one of the “The Address Sky View” towers with a semi-elliptical design that provides a walking distance of 45 meters.
