With Emirati projects totaling more than 28 billion dirhams, and with the participation of more than 300 local, regional, and international real estate companies and dozens of banks, the «Cityscape Global 2017» exhibition concluded yesterday evening in Dubai, featuring a variety of residential, retail, and hotel projects.
The projects launched during the exhibition focused on the residential sector, which accounted for approximately 75%, while other projects were distributed across the retail, hospitality, and entertainment sectors.
Due to the high level of interest and large turnout during the exhibition, Informa Exhibitions, the event’s organizer, estimated that the number of visitors would exceed 30,000 from 86 countries, including experts, specialists, and officials from government and quasi-government agencies. The company confirmed that the events featured 1,150 specialists and speakers from within and outside the UAE to discuss the rapid changes in the real estate development industry.
The projects stood out for their competitive prices, flexible payment plans, and their ability to add value and incorporate innovative features to enhance their appeal to investors, who have become increasingly careful in selecting their real estate purchases.
This year’s edition featured an on-site sales service for UAE real estate, which significantly increased the number of visitors and investors, creating a competitive environment among exhibiting companies.
The real estate projects offered for sale at the exhibition saw remarkable interest from visitors, who were given the opportunity to select a property and pay a reservation deposit during the event, Developers welcomed the allowance of direct real estate sales and began preparing in advance for this process by setting up dedicated sections equipped with tablets and computers to display project details, as well as electronic payment terminals to accept reservation deposits from buyers.
