Al Rajhi Bank adopts “Financial Awareness for Small Merchants” initiative, training courses and a trade fair

<As one of this year's CSR initiatives, Al Rajhi Bank adopted an initiative to raise the level of financial awareness among children by holding training courses and a trade fair under the name “Financial Awareness for the Young Merchant”. The first initiative was launched in Medina from August 20-25, 2017. The program includes three training days followed by a trade fair through which the beneficiaries are trained and informed about commercial activities, buying and selling mechanisms and financial transactions.
Through this training course and trade fair, a group of female employees of the bank in Medina participated voluntarily in attending the training courses and sharing the training activities with the beneficiaries. The employees also attended the trade fair accompanying the course because they believe in the importance of participating in all awareness activities that raise the level of knowledge, and in order to strengthen the relationship between the bank and the community on the one hand, and between employees and community members on the other hand.

It is worth mentioning that this program is one of the social responsibility programs approved in 2017 and its implementation will extend until the first quarter of 2018.
