During the introductory workshop on the electronic platform for real estate facilities management organized by the Riyadh Chamber represented by the Real Estate Committee in cooperation with the Ministry of Housing, Engineer Turki Al-Jabaa, Director of the Owners Union Program at the Ministry of Housing, explained that the number of unions that have been registered in less than a year so far reached (460) unions, expecting that the number will increase to more during the coming period, adding that the registration of companies in the electronic platform for facilities management will start next week, stressing that the size of the facilities management sector market in the Kingdom will witness a great boom due to the great expansion in real estate development projects.

Al-Jabaa He added that the owners' union program will create a number of sustainable employment opportunities for young men and women in various fields, indicating that this will support the achievement of the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and pointed out that the program aims to regulate the relationship between owners and occupants of residential units with common ownership by setting laws, regulations, control mechanisms and organizing property management services and facilities.

Jabaa explained that registration in the platform will be available starting next week for companies that provide various operation and maintenance services and other services needed by owners, pointing out that through this platform, federations can know the capabilities of companies and their capabilities and contract with them, stressing that there will be an electronic link with government agencies to verify the record of companies, and that the platform will provide promising opportunities for small and medium enterprises in the facilities management market, indicating that federation projects will need multiple and varied services.
