with local and international participation. Minister of Housing inaugurates Restatex Cityscape 2017 He praises the variety of supply options

With a distinguished presence of participating companies, businessmen and specialists in the real estate sector, His Excellency the Minister of Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, inaugurated the International Real Estate Exhibition “Restatex Cityscape” 2017, which is being held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center during the period of September 27-30, with the participation of a number of related entities, in addition to a group of real estate development and finance companies and companies concerned with housing, real estate and construction affairs. His Excellency also launched during the opening ceremony the pavilion of the Ministry of Housing, which includes all of the ministry’s initiatives and aims to introduce them and provide its services to visitors of the exhibition.

Supporting supply and enabling demand

In a press statement following the opening ceremony, His Excellency the Minister of Housing affirmed that the Ministry of Housing aims to support supply, enable demand, and stimulate the real estate market, in addition to improving the performance of the real estate sector and increasing its contribution to the GDP, and striving to sustain the Ministry's resources and improve its efficiency. The exhibition aims to provide many services to visiting citizens by opening the way for them to meet with Ministry officials and learn about its housing and financing products. He emphasized that such meetings will play an active role in achieving the Ministry's goal of supplying more housing units with multiple options, high quality, and suitable prices in all regions of the Kingdom through partnership with the private sector.

Minister of Housing's tour

During his tour of the exhibition, His Excellency visited the Ministry of Housing’s pavilion and reviewed its various sections that highlight the Ministry’s current and future projects, its diverse programs and initiatives, and its plans aimed at providing housing for all citizens, such as partnership with the private sector, the off-plan sales program “Wafi”, developmental housing, the Owners Association, the Real Estate Institute, fees on white land, and rental, in addition to introducing the services provided by the Real Estate Development Fund. His Excellency also visited the pavilions of the other participating entities.

Al-Haqil praised the organization of the exhibition and the active participation of relevant entities from the public and private sectors, hoping that citizens, interested parties, and specialists would find what meets their aspirations and desires. He emphasized that such exhibitions provide an opportunity to learn about what the ministry offers up close. His Excellency also stressed the importance of the relationship between the public and private sectors, and that its focus should be the interest of the nation and the citizen and participation in comprehensive development, in addition to the various services provided by the other participating entities. Meanwhile, the Minister of Housing honored the sponsors of the exhibition, thanking them for their interest and interaction.
