With the participation of 45 real estate companies, the “Restatex Cityscape” International Real Estate Exhibition 2017, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from September 27–30. The exhibition featured a booth for the Ministry of Housing as well as a number of banks and financing companies.
Over the course of its four days, the exhibition welcomed crowds of visitors and businesspeople from inside and outside the Kingdom, who came to explore investment opportunities and conclude deals and agreements between companies and real estate firms. Exhibition activities included a number of workshops to introduce the housing program, partnerships with the private sector, and the implementation of the “white land” system.
The Minister of Housing emphasized that the ministry aims to support supply, stimulate demand, and boost the real estate supply, in addition to improving the performance of the real estate sector and increasing its contribution to GDP, as well as striving to ensure the sustainability of the ministry’s resources and improve its efficiency, while the exhibition aims to provide various services to visiting citizens by giving them the opportunity to meet with ministry officials, and introducing them to its housing and financing products, noting that such meetings will play an active role in achieving the ministry’s goal of providing more housing units with diverse options, high quality, and affordable prices across all regions of the Kingdom through partnerships with the private sector.
A number of participants stressed the need to continue holding such exhibitions to provide the public with an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the real estate market and to gain a general understanding of the sector through the projects on display.
