<His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Petroleum Affairs and Chairman of the Subcommittee for the preparation of the Saudi Energy Efficiency Program, revealed that a working system of four government agencies has been prepared to monitor the implementation of the «Saudi Standard for Fuel Economy in Light Vehicles», the commitment of international automobile manufacturers to the requirements of the standard, and the improvement of the fuel economy rate in the Kingdom, including the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, the General Customs Authority, and the Saudi Center for Energy Efficiency (SCEE).
