<The Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA) has emphasized the importance of the role of facilities management in achieving urban sustainability, stressing the need to advance the profession of establishing, maintaining and operating the urban environment in order to promote the development of our societies and lead them efficiently and sustainably. This came during the workshop organized by the Association in Cairo, Egypt, under the title “The role of facilities management in sustainable development and urban development of new cities in Egypt”, in the presence of a group of executives and administrators in various sectors.
