Expansion of the Ministry's projects

The expanded meeting, which was attended by the governors of the Holy Capital and Jeddah, discussed the development of ways and mechanisms of cooperation between the Ministry of Housing and the secretariats in order to expand the ministry's projects and diversify its products in Makkah and Jeddah to ensure the suitability of the beneficiaries“ desires.

According to the presentation, the efforts of the Ministries of Housing and Municipal and Rural Affairs, represented by the secretariats, are integrated within the ”Housing Program”, which is one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, in which 16 government agencies are integrated to remove obstacles and facilitate procedures to serve all segments of society and raise the ownership rate to 60% by 2020, and reach 70% by 2030, by providing housing solutions for Saudi families.

Bayda Center Development Project

The Acting Emir of Makkah was briefed on the objectives and vision of the Al-Bayda Center Development Project, which is being implemented by Al-Bayda Development Company with the participation of several sectors, after it was launched by the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah, HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, and supervised by the Emirate of the region. The project aims to settle families in a model village that provides a decent life for them and their families, while establishing an economic, social, environmental and cultural base for them based on their rehabilitation and providing them with various craft skills, securing their means of living and also providing various income sources.

The project was launched by the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, and its implementation is supervised by the Emirate of the region.

Development and Cooperative Housing

<The initiative aims to address all issues related to the housing sector by diversifying programs and initiatives that target all segments of the population, including the low-income group.
