Tabuk enters the first phase of implementing the “White Land” program fees”

The White Land Program announced the start of the application of the first phase of fees in Tabuk, explaining that the geographical area targeted for the application of the first phase was determined after reviewing the results of the workshops held with the Municipality of Tabuk and discussing the proposed scope, where the geographical scope was adopted to apply the system in proportion to the objectives of the program and consistent with the strategic plans of the Municipality for the city.

White Land Program. The decision issued by the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing regarding the application of fees in Tabuk, which is based on the decision of the Council of Ministers approving the executive regulations of the white land fees system and starting to enforce the first phase on undeveloped lands with an area of 10,000 m2 and more, as the decision gave a deadline of 6 months as of today for owners of white lands within the targeted area of Tabuk city to register their land data through (white lands).

The decision stipulates that the first phase of the white land fees will be applied in Tabuk. He stressed that he works according to international standards in real estate studies and their impact ratios in the targeted cities and monitoring all geospatial data of the lands subject to fees to evaluate them and impose the fee on them according to the mechanisms followed and approved during the study of the urban area in order to apply the system and achieve balance between supply and demand and increase the rate of ownership of citizens, and continues its efforts to educate landowners about the regulations and procedures followed and clarify the best ways to invest and develop those lands.

It is noteworthy that the program includes 4 phases, the first targeting undeveloped lands with an area of 10,000 m2 or more located within the scope determined by the Ministry, the second for developed lands belonging to one owner in one approved plan with an area of more than 10,000 m2, the third for developed lands belonging to one owner in one approved plan with a total area of more than 5,000 m2, while the fourth targets developed lands belonging to one owner in one city with a total area of more than 10,000 m2.
