The Saudi Contractors Authority ranked 11th in Asia according to the global Great Place to Work organization for 2021.
The list included the largest companies and institutions across Asia, reflecting the Authority’s commitment to continuous improvement in providing a safe, world-class work environment among the largest organizations, government agencies, and nonprofit entities in the Kingdom and across Asia. This achievement, attributed to the Authority, recognizes its efforts to continuously improve the work environment. Organizations are evaluated and certified through a program that assesses and distinguishes work environments, based on rigorous criteria and multiple surveys, including a comprehensive evaluation by the organization of the work environment through internal questionnaires that measure a number of factors, such as employees’ relationship with management in general, employee satisfaction with the Authority’s internal environment, training and development, fairness and integrity, respect, team spirit, and other factors.
This recognition is a clear indication of the Authority’s commitment to talent and emerging talent in accordance with the highest global standards, as it seeks to build a culture based on transparency, creativity, and empowerment, and the Human Capital Department works to attract, train, and retain qualified employees who are a driving force in helping the Authority achieve its strategic goals and further success and progress.
Among the factors contributing to the Authority’s success in recent years—and its recognition as one of the best work environments in the Kingdom according to Great Place to Work—is that employees have been a top priority since its inception by a Cabinet decision, and the promotion of values within the Authority, particularly the value placed on human capital development, which has helped attract talented Saudi professionals to organize and develop the construction sector in the Kingdom.
