Dammam ... 98% completion of the project to complete Prince Naif Road with Prince Miteb Road

The Eastern Province Municipality has completed 98% of the project to complete the extension of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Road with Prince Miteb Road, which will be opened in the coming weeks, as part of the road initiatives projects that are currently being implemented in Dammam metropolis.

The Municipality explained that the project includes two bridges on the service roads of the intersection of Prince Miteb Road with the railway, one in the east-west direction and the other in the west-east direction, thus allowing permanent movement on the railway line without the need to stop and wait for trains to cross, which saves time for road users and reduces the risk of crossing the railway and in line with plans to avoid having crossing gates for cars on railway lines within the scope of cities.


The Municipality explained that the project includes two bridges on the service roads for the intersection of Prince Miteb Road with the railway. She pointed out that the length of each bridge is approximately 650 meters long, and the concrete work for the bases, columns and retaining walls, in addition to the concrete beams and slabs have been fully completed for the two bridges in both directions, stressing that the work is carried out according to the transport strategy to achieve a number of main objectives, to raise the efficiency of roads and traffic and improve the quality of life in the Eastern Province.
