Conditions and application acceptance date:
The Public Authority for State Property started receiving applications last year, specifically on the fifth of Jumada Al Awwal, and set a deadline of one year to submit applications for ownership.
The third article of the rules revealed the conditions for accepting the application for ownership, and included that the application must be submitted within a year from 5-5-1442 AH corresponding to 20-12-2020 AD, and that it must not have been previously decided by a judicial ruling that has gained final status, and that the property subject to the application is not within sites where ownership may not be acquired legally or by orders, decisions and instructions, including the boundaries of the two Holy Mosques, holy sites and their buildings, coastal lands and sea sanctuary, and fish farming projects, including the boundaries of the two Holy Mosques.
This is in addition to border camps and national reserves, lands of wild parks, wildlife sanctuaries, mountain tops, pasture lands and forests, valley streams, torrents, reefs and floods, archaeological sites, reservation areas for hydrocarbons, mining, energy and mineral ore sites, electricity routes and stations, water source areas, dam basins and their camps, and public property issued with deeds of public utilities and services.<The conditions also include that aerial photographs or organizational plans do not deny the existence of revival in the property before the order prohibiting revival issued by Supreme Decree No. (21679) dated 9/11/1387 AH.
