“Trade” grants 31 licenses to export cement and iron this year

The number of licenses approved for the export of steel and cement since the beginning of this year has reached 31, including 20 licenses for steel and 11 licenses for cement, after meeting the conditions and requirements specified in accordance with the regulatory controls of the Ministerial Supply Committee.


The Ministry of Commerce stated that it has issued 239 licenses for the export of iron and cement, since the approval of the export controls by the Ministerial Supply Committee until now.


It noted that the licenses are divided between 144 licenses for the export of iron and 95 licenses for the export of cement, which gives an indication of the steady annual growth in the number of licenses.
The ministerial committee is formed by the ministries of trade and investment, finance, energy, industry and mineral resources, environment, water and agriculture.
