The Saudi stock index ”TASI” continued its gains for the fourth session in a row, and ended the first trading session of the week up 74.25 points, and 0.63%, compared to the previous session and closed at 11773.36 points.

In contrast, the parallel market index “Nomu” ended the session on Sunday, up 64.96 points and 0.27%, compared to the previous session, and closed at 24064.45 points, and the liquidity in “Nomu” today amounted to about 38.9 million riyals, and came by trading 438 thousand shares, through the implementation of 2101 transactions.

The liquidity today in the main market “TASI” amounted to about 7.6 billion riyals, and came from trading 218.2 million shares, through the implementation of 333.7 thousand transactions, the shares of 158 companies rose and 32 other companies fell.

In terms of sectors, 18 of the market's 21 sectors rose, led by media and entertainment 3.8%, real estate management and development 3.5%, utilities 2.5%, and long-term commodities 1.8%, while pharmaceuticals, luxury retail and insurance sectors closed down 0.3%, 0.2% and 0.1% for the three sectors respectively.

Musk 6.6%, PetroRabigh 6.2%, Jabal Omar 5.8%, Wola 5.3% and Al Hokair Group 4.6% were the biggest risers today.

While Food Development 6.1%, Gaz 3.4%, Patek 2.5%, Moby 2.4%, Nagul 1.8%, Cisco 1.7%, Tanmia 1.5%, Bupa and Watani Steel 1.4%, and Chemical 1.3% were the biggest decliners today.
