<The number of real estate units registered in the Malak program has recorded a growth of more than 126 thousand real estate units within more than 14 thousand owners“ associations registered in the electronic platform since the beginning of the program until September 2021.
This comes as an extension of the program's efforts to promote the culture of coexistence and preserve the rights of owners and occupants of real estate units with joint ownership by providing services that facilitate and regulate the use of real estate, to achieve the objectives of the housing program - one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 - to raise the percentage of residential ownership for Saudi families to 70% by 2030.
Malak program explained in a press release that this increase in the number of owners” associations came due to facilitating the procedures for registering owners of common properties for their units electronically under sales contracts, activating and accrediting owners“ associations electronically, in addition to addressing the challenges facing some associations.<The program provides a special page for service providers such as property managers, individuals and facilities, and an approved list of maintenance and operation companies to register and offer their services to owners” associations, with the aim of organizing and facilitating the process of communication between owners' associations and service providers, and providing reliability that preserves the rights of both parties.<The platform provides services and facilities for associations in all cities and regions of the Kingdom, by filling out the main data to create profiles on the platform, in addition to the accreditation of maintenance and operation companies by the program after creating the profile; to allow the presentation of data and services to owners' associations. The platform also provides career opportunities for property managers and maintenance and operation companies in the fields of security, safety, maintenance and building management by providing their services to registered associations.
