Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources carried out 1027 field visits to industrial facilities in the Kingdom during the month of December. In a press release, the ministry said that the field visits carried out on factories in the Eastern Province amounted to 352 visits, 255 visits to factories in the Makkah region, 213 visits to factories in Riyadh, 120 visits to factories in the Qassim region, 47 visits to factories in Medina, 12 field visits to factories in the Asir region, 11 visits to factories in the Jazan region, nine visits to industrial facilities in the Tabuk region, and eight field visits to factories in the Hail region.
The ministry reported in a press release. The Ministry emphasized that its supervisory teams will continue to carry out field visits to ensure that industrial facilities apply the necessary standards and requirements, follow up the commitment of national factories to provide high-quality products by adhering to the technical regulations of Saudi specifications and standards, verify the safety of products, and correct the conditions of factories located outside industrial cities.
The Ministry emphasized that its supervisory teams will continue their field visits to ensure that industrial facilities apply the necessary standards and requirements. The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources requires any industrial facility to obtain a safety license issued by the Civil Defense, provide safety means according to the nature of the activity and its danger, ensure the availability of emergency exits, a fire extinguishing system, and store raw materials and products in a safe manner.
