Majid Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, confirmed that 70% of the municipal sector should be privatized quickly to improve services through the private sector.

<During his speech at the Operational Excellence Conference that kicked off in Riyadh last week, Al-Hogail said that the ambition at the end of 2022 is for all services to be automated so that 95% residents and investors can get their services directly and indirectly in 2023. He added that the ministry provides services that affect 60% economic sectors directly and indirectly.
