The Jeddah Urban Development and Development Company plans to offer 600 new residential units this year, ranging in size from 86 to 246 square meters per unit, with an average price of 2,600 riyals per square meter. The project is aimed at middle-income households.

Sources report that the company is developing two areas covering a total of five million square meters, in addition to other projects related to the development of the industrial zone, the Salman Bay housing project, the warehouse district, Old Al-Mardam, the Eastern Forest, the Central Corniche, the Jeddah Meadows project, and the Heart of Jeddah.

The Salman Bay Housing Project involves the construction of a model residential suburb with integrated services and facilities that meet the needs of various segments of society, covering an area of three million square meters near Salman Bay, north of Jeddah.

The Asfan Light Industries Development Project involves establishing a zone for workshops and light industries to replace the current Al-Nuzha Industrial Zone by preparing a comprehensive master plan in accordance with planning and urban development principles and standards.

The Jeddah Heart Development Project involves implementing a mixed-use development to create a city center for Jeddah and a new destination that serves as a meeting point for residents and visitors alike.

The source noted that the company’s work complements the Ministry of Housing’s projects and does not conflict with them, as the company focuses on residential products that are in high demand.
