Architecture and Design Authority signs an agreement with the French Architects Organization

the Architecture and Design Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with the French Architects" Association (AFIX) to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The signing ceremony took place at the organization’s headquarters in Paris, where the Authority was represented by its Executive President, Dr. Sumaya bint Sulaiman Al-Sulaiman, and the organization was represented by its Secretary General, Madeleine Hubert.
This partnership strengthens mutual cooperation between the two parties through several initiatives, most notably: supporting the implementation of training and employment programs for Saudi students and professionals in the architecture and design sectors through entities proposed by the organization, following coordination with the relevant authorities in the Kingdom, and delivering lectures at Saudi universities through the nomination of experts and specialists in the architecture and design sectors.
The memorandum also focuses on exploring avenues for cooperation in architecture and design events, competitions, and awards, as well as nominating entities to participate in events organized by both parties. The agreement also provides for the possibility of establishing offices in the Kingdom for the Organization and its affiliated entities specializing in the fields of architecture and design.
The memorandum comes as part of efforts to strengthen the Architecture and Design Arts Authority with leading international organizations, educational institutions, and companies in the architecture and design sector; to support excellence in the sector, harness expertise and capabilities to reflect local culture and promote economic development, and advance the fields of architecture and design in the Kingdom.
