His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Hail Region, yesterday sponsored the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the quality of life projects and humanization of cities for the region's Municipality 2023, at a cost of more than 411 million riyals, in the presence of Adel bin Saleh Al-Sheikh, Undersecretary of the Emirate of Hail Region.
Hail Municipality reviewed its work in establishing and rehabilitating gardens, parks, pedestrian paths and bicycle paths according to specific criteria and strategy to promote the humanization of cities, which reflects positively on the quality of life index.
His Highness heard an overview of the efforts that included rehabilitation and construction projects for more than 71 parks and gardens, including parks within residential neighborhoods, public parks, and pedestrian paths with an area of more than 1.8 million m2 at a total cost of more than 200 million riyals, asphalt projects worth more than 150 million riyals, including asphalting residential neighborhoods, developing main roads, including Prince Saud bin Abdulmohsen Road, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad Road, asphalt and lighting new grant schemes worth 83 million riyals, developing 6 main roads in Hail city worth 72 million riyals, and municipal projects in the governorates of the region worth 56 million riyals.
The Secretary of Hail, Engineer Sultan bin Hamed Al-Zaidi, praised the support of the leadership that enabled the achievement of these achievements of the Municipality of the region in the first quarter of the fiscal year of this year, under the follow-up of His Highness the Emir of Hail, His Highness the Deputy Emir, and His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, stressing his and the employees of the Municipality to ensure that every house in Hail is not more than 800 meters from green spaces, praising the cooperation of all government and private departments in the region and the people of Hail, looking forward to more work and achievement with the help of God and then the solidarity of all.

After that, HH the Amir of Hail Region laid the foundation stone for developmental and municipal projects, and inaugurated the Health Education Center and the privatization programs of the control sector.

Wazir.
