His Royal Highness Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kingdom Holding Company, expressed his full satisfaction with the progress and implementation phases of the Kingdom Tower in Jeddah, which are proceeding according to schedule, and praised the efforts of the contractor’s team to complete the project on time.

The master plan for the Kingdom City project was designed to provide an integrated, mixed-use environment offering a modern lifestyle across a land area of 5.3 million square meters, supported by advanced and comprehensive infrastructure and superstructure. The first phase, currently under construction, covers an area of 1.5 million square meters and will feature 3.3 million square meters of modern, mixed-use buildings, serving as the vibrant heart of northern Jeddah.

The main objective of developing this city is to provide a unique environment for work, housing, recreation, and social life that offers residents and visitors the highest levels of service to which the rising Saudi generation aspires with pride and dignity, It will serve as a key destination for visitors to the city in the areas of business, commerce, entertainment, culture, medicine, and education, and will set the standard for future real estate and urban development, while also providing a bright future for coming generations of Saudi youth through the creation of job opportunities, and by effectively helping to meet the growing demand for housing.

Kingdom Tower in Jeddah at a Glance

The tower features 8 double-height, fire-resistant evacuation floors distributed throughout the building; these facilities exceed internationally required standards or those available in any other building.

The tower features 58 high-speed elevators, as well as the world’s fastest tandem elevators (consisting of two cabins connected vertically) traveling at a speed of 12 meters per second, These elevators are unique in their ability to generate energy as they move, thereby contributing to energy conservation and environmental protection.

The Kingdom Tower comprises 170 usable floors, seven of which are dedicated to the five-star Four Seasons Hotel (200 rooms), and another seven to offices.

The tower features 121 luxury hotel apartments and 61 floors comprising 318 diverse residential units equipped with services, sports facilities, fitness centers, a health club, cafes, and restaurants, as well as the world’s highest observation deck at an elevation of 644 meters, offering visitors a unique view of the city of Jeddah and the Red Sea coast.
