His Excellency the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Real Estate Authority, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Haqeel, honored real estate brokers (individuals - establishments) and real estate platforms, who took the initiative to comply with the real estate brokerage system, within the activities of Cityscape Global Exhibition.
On the second day of Cityscape Global, the first 10 real estate brokerage establishments, the first 10 individual real estate brokers, and the first 10 licensed real estate platforms were honored. During the second day of the exhibition, 10 real estate brokerage establishments, the first 10 individual real estate brokers, and the first 10 licensed real estate platforms were honored for their compliance with the real estate brokerage system, which was implemented at the beginning of the Hijri year 1445 AH.
The Chairman of the Real Estate Brokerage Regulatory Authority (REBRA) confirmed that the real estate brokerage system has been implemented at the beginning of the Hijri year 1445 AH. For his part, the President of the General Real Estate Authority, Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad, stressed that the real estate brokerage system contributes to regulating real estate brokerage and services, providing innovative and quality services to beneficiaries, supporting the activities of real estate brokers and beneficiaries, and the sustainability of real estate assets, in addition to raising the quality of transactions, preserving the rights of market participants, increasing its transparency, and reducing real estate disputes.
It is noteworthy that the General Authority for Real Estate is the legislative sponsor Cityscape Global will review during the exhibition the system of real estate legislation that includes the "Real Estate Brokerage System" and the Real Estate Registration System, in addition to the activities that come under the organization of the General Authority for Real Estate, including (Wafi Off-Map Sales Committee, Ijar, sorting real estate units, Malak Program, and Real Estate Contributions System).
Participation of the General Authority for Real Estate in the exhibition comes within the framework of the “Cityscape Global” exhibition and the “Cityscape Global” exhibition. The participation of the Authority comes as part of its strategy to raise awareness of the real estate sector legislation and communicate with practitioners and interested parties related to the sector.
