Majid Al-Hogail gives engineers the green light to find solutions and proposals to solve the housing issue

The Minister of Housing, H.E. Mr. Majid Al-Hogail, has given the green light to the Saudi Board of Engineers to submit new proposals to contribute to solving the housing crisis in the Kingdom, while reserving intellectual rights for engineers with new ideas and scientific and practical solutions, and sources report that there is an upcoming visit of the Board of Engineers to the Ministry of Housing next Wednesday to provide advice.

<For its part, the Saudi Engineers Authority expressed its satisfaction with this step, especially since the Saudi Engineers Authority Law issued by Royal Decree No. M/36 dated 26/9/1423 AH, which refers in its sixth paragraph of its second article to provide technical advice in its field of competence, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Engineers Authority, Dr. Dr. Jamil Al-Baqaawi confirmed the Authority's intention to launch the model that allows everyone to participate by putting forward ideas and appropriate solutions, pointing out that the ideas will be reserved for their owners if they are quality ideas and proposals that contribute to solving the housing crisis.

Dr. Jamil Al-Baqaawi stressed the importance of the housing sector, which is considered one of the most vital and strategic sectors, adding that the housing sector has not taken its serious share of study, research and benefit from international experiences to find appropriate solutions to address the issues of this sector, pointing out that the role of engineers is important and effective for this sector through participation and innovation, by providing and proposing scientific solutions to address the issues that plague the housing sector in the Kingdom.
