National Housing Company (NHC) and the National Electricity Transmission Company of the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) signed an agreement aimed at delivering electrical service through the construction of a 134 megavolt ampere (MVA) main transformer station and connecting it to the grid with cable lengths of approximately 19 kilometers to feed the Al Farasan Suburb Phase I transformer station.The agreement aims to deliver electrical service through the construction of a main transformer station with a capacity of 134 MVA and connecting it to the grid with cable lengths of approximately 19 kilometers to feed the Al Fursan Suburb Phase I transformer station.
The signing ceremony took place in Cairo. The signing ceremony took place at National Housing's headquarters, where National Housing was represented by CEO Mohammed Bin Saleh Al Batti, while the National Electricity Transmission Company was signed by Acting CEO Ahmed Bin Saleh Al Zahrani.
Infrastructure development in Al Fursan suburb
The agreement comes to enhance the integration between the two entities and complement the efforts made by National Housing to prepare the infrastructure in Al Fursan suburb, which includes water, electricity, telecommunications, lighting, sidewalks, road asphalt and others, in addition to allocating sites for public service facilities, which raise the highest standards of quality of life, to provide an integrated residential environment within model urban communities.The agreement comes as a reinforcement of the integration between the two entities, and complements the efforts made by National Housing in preparing the infrastructure in Al Fursan suburb. It is noteworthy that Dahiyat Al Forsan contains more than 190 vital facilities, commercial centers and green spaces of more than 6 million m2 to contribute to the humanization of cities and create vibrant communities that provide all needs and ensure easy and quick access to services and facilities through safe pedestrian and bicycle paths, creating an ideal housing experience in line with the aspirations of the future generation.
