Concluded Riyadh Municipality its participation in the MIPIM, where it focused on strengthening international cooperation, building strategic international partnerships, and attracting investment opportunities to Riyadh by showcasing a distinctive model of development and innovation in urban planning for the city of Riyadh, key projects, the implementation mechanism for future projects, and the methodology for resident participation in Riyadh projects.
The Riyadh Municipality emphasized that its participation aims to strengthen international cooperation, exchange expertise and knowledge, and engage experts and specialists from the urban and real estate sectors, highlighting efforts that contribute to enhancing quality of life, engaging the region’s residents, and strengthening its position as a leading center for development and sustainability in the region.
In the dialogue sessions in which it participated, the Secretariat focused on future trends in Riyadh, presented urban designs and models, best practices in project implementation, and a vision for the future of Riyadh, in addition to discussing specific urban projects, the importance of sustainable urban development, and the preservation of heritage in the Secretariat’s projects to develop the region.
It is worth noting that the sessions were attended by the Assistant Deputy Governor for Special Projects, Engineer Mohammed Al-Wabli; the Assistant Deputy Governor for Urban Planning, Engineer Saleh Al-Saif; and a number of specialists and interested parties, to highlight the efforts of the Riyadh Municipality in the city’s prosperity and sustainability.
At the conclusion of the exhibition, the Saudi Meeting was held with the participation of Saudi, Gulf, and Arab delegations, in addition to a group of major investors and real estate developers participating in MIPIM 2024.
