The General Real Estate Authority announced the start of registration for five eligible neighborhoods in Riyadh as part of the fourth phase of the real estate registry, namely: Al-Hada neighborhood, part of the Sidra neighborhood, part of the Al-Sha’la neighborhood, part of the Al-Fursan neighborhood, and Al-Nukhba neighborhood. Registration will continue in these neighborhoods until July 4, 2024, corresponding to 28 Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH.

The Authority stated that there are 25,700 real estate parcels in these neighborhoods, with a total area of 58.14 square kilometers, noting that initial registration of properties in these neighborhoods is available via the electronic Land Registry platform https://rer.sa/rer-services-ar/ or through service centers.

It called on General Real Estate Authority to verify their property title deeds and ensure they meet the necessary requirements (an up-to-date electronic deed issued by the Ministry of Justice with complete data and meeting the ownership requirements). Inquiries regarding the necessary procedures and steps can be made by calling the Customer Service Center at 199002.

It should be noted that the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services (The Real Estate Registry) is responsible for establishing and managing the real estate registry in the Kingdom using geospatial data and modern technologies through an integrated digital platform that contributes to enhancing transparency and trust in real estate services and data. Starting on the designated date for the commencement of registration, a “Property Number” and a title deed will be issued for each real estate unit registered.

The new title deed will include the property’s details, description, and condition, as well as the associated rights and obligations and all real estate transactions pertaining to it, linked to geospatial information through survey data and geographic coordinates of the properties, serving as the basis for the registration of ownership and the associated real estate rights, thereby contributing to the sustainability and strengthening of the real estate sector and its key drivers.
