Roshan Group sets a new Guinness World Record

Artists and volunteers decorated the promenade along the Roshan waterfront with artwork covering 16,000 square meters as part of an initiative to beautify the waterfront

Roshon Group—one of the major projects wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund— the artwork for the waterfront promenade in its new form, following the launch of an initiative to enhance the aesthetic appeal of Roshen’s waterfront in Jeddah in collaboration with the “Lanbadir” program for volunteering and community partnership and the Social Responsibility Association in Jeddah Province.

The world’s longest mural on a promenade

The waterfront, considered one of the most attractive destinations in the city of Jeddah, set a new Guinness World Record for the world’s longest mural on a promenade.

The artwork, created by the creative hands of artists and volunteers, and captures the vibrant spirit of Jeddah and the distinctive elements of the Roshen Group, the entire Roshen Waterfront Promenade, which has a total area of 16,000 square meters.

Renewal of the aesthetic landscape of the waterfront

The initiative to revitalize the aesthetic landscape for the Roshen Waterfront as part of the Group’s commitment to improving the quality of life for Jeddah’s residents, and reflects its support for Saudi artists and its belief in the importance of art in achieving societal well-being.

Roshen Waterfront

It is worth noting that the waterfront, which opened in 2017 and was named “Roshen Waterfront” in 2022, has become one of Jeddah’s main attractions, visited by more than 55 million people annually to exercise and enjoy views of the Jeddah Corniche and the Red Sea. With its long promenade and tree-lined paths designated for running and cycling, the Roshen Waterfront is considered one of the most attractive places for visitors in Jeddah.

In this context, Ghada Al-Ramian, Chief Marketing Officer at Roshen Group, expressed her gratitude to the participating organizations and to every volunteer who contributed to turning this idea into an inspiring reality.
