The General Real Estate Authority the General Real Estate Authority has announced the start of real estate registration for (113,541 parcels) in 11 neighborhoods in the city of Riyadh, beginning tomorrow, Sunday, July 28, 2024, corresponding to 22 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH, and continuing through October 31, 2024, corresponding to 28 Rabi" al-Thani 1446 AH.
The Authority clarified that the neighborhoods benefiting from the Real Estate Registry at this stage include the following neighborhoods: (Tuwaiq, part of Arid, King Abdulaziz, Al-Suleimaniyah, Al-Wazarat, Al-Fakhriyah, Alisha, Al-Sina’iyah, Al-Khalidiyah, Al-Dar Al-Bayda District, Al-Difa District), noting that the districts were selected based on specific criteria, and that the remaining regions and districts set to benefit from the Real Estate Registry across various parts of the Kingdom will be announced in due course.
The Real Estate Authority also clarified that initial real estate registration in these areas will be available through the electronic Real Estate Registry platform https://rer.sa/rer-services-ar/ or through service centers, noting that in-person registration requires a title deed that meets the regulatory requirements to complete the registration process.
The Authority called on property owners in the areas and neighborhoods covered by the Real Estate Registry to verify their title deeds and ensure they meet the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, Inquiries about the registration steps can be made through the Authority’s official platforms or by calling the Customer Service Center at 199002.
Starting on the scheduled date for the commencement of registration, a "property number“ and a title deed will be issued for each registered property unit, The title deed will include the property’s details, description, condition, and associated rights and obligations linked to precise geospatial information, thereby contributing to the strengthening of infrastructure and the sustainability of the real estate sector, as the real estate registration system aims to increase the reliability of real estate records and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
